Zion is one of the 32 Tempos currently available in HOURS. It is available to the player after beating Downcast Days using Artisan

Usage

When activated, time for yourself and your summons/constructs will rapidly increase to be double what it is normally. The sky will phase from night to day during Zion. When finished, time slows down back to normal time.

Zion lasts for 20 seconds and its cooldown is 40 seconds. When Overclocked, time speeds up to become tripled instead of doubled and time is passively sped up by 25%. This stacks additively with the active component of Zion for up to 3.25x speed.

Tips and Trivia

Tips

• Zion is multipurpose, and synergizes well with any host for many different reasons:
  • Since Zion only speeds up you, it is great for making distance. This synergizes well with long-ranged hosts such as Vestige, Dreamer, etc.
  • Zion also synergizes well with slow hosts like Visitor and Bloxxer, allowing them to not become overwhelmed by projectiles or fast enemies.
  • Zion allows you to perform most attacks risk free, due to the fact that your vulnerability is essentially cut in half during its duration.
• OC Zion synergizes well with slow hosts as it passively boosts their attack and movement speed.
  • OC Zion is especially useful for Bloxxer as most of his attacks normally leave him vulnerable.

Trivia

• Zion references Made In Heaven's ability to accelerate time in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
• When Zion is activated, all sound effects are sped up. Comically, this means that if you kill Ronin Alpha while time is accelerated, his death scream will be really high-pitched and sound similar to crying.
• Gold, Cell, Word, Hint, OC Mood, OC Zion, and OC Page are the only Tempos which have passive effects.
