Void Watcher is one of the ten enemies that you can encounter in Downcast Days.
Appearance[]
Void Watcher seems to be heavily based off of the Overseer clan, one of the nine clans of Robloxia. Also he wields the Overseer Smashing Hammer, taking all of the abilities of the weapon (side swing, ground bash, and minion summon). He wears an Overseer General helmet, as well as green spots which could resemble eyes on his chest and arms.

Hammer Swing[]
Void Watcher swings their hammer at you with a small windup, dealing 20 damage.
Hammer Slam[]
Void Watcher slams their hammer into the ground, creating a shockwave and dealing 20 damage with medium knockback.
Summon[]
Void Watcher summons a Void Monster with 60 health that attempts to stab you for 8 damage. The Void Monster will automatically die after some time has passed.
AI[]
Void Watcher always summons a Void Monster first. Afterwards, they keep a certain distance from the player. Whenever the Void Monster dies, they walk towards the player trying to attack them, using Hammer Swing or Hammer Slam when the player is too close. Once the cooldown is finished, its summons a Void Monster and the cycle continues.
Tips[]
- Aim for Void Watcher instead of its Void Monster, as defeating the Void Monster does not help with the completion of the stage in any way.
- It is best to attack them both at the same time if possible.
- Dodge its easy to predict attacks.
- Avoid its Hammer Slam as its knockback may waste time.
Trivia[]
- All enemies encountered on Downcast Days are references to the different Clans of Robloxia. Void Watcher represents the Overseers, an undead clan of evil using black magic to feed on souls.
- The Void Monster can be instantly killed by attacking/staggering Void Watcher in the middle of its summoning.
- The Hammer Slam can still damage you even if you‘re not touching the hammer. This is due to the shockwave created by said hammer.
- Void watcher's summon gear is inspired by this weapon.
