Note: NONE OF THE FOLLOWING LORE IS CONFIRMED OR CANON TO THE ORIGINAL GAME BY ANY MEANS
So basically he manifested into existance, and pre-prayer robbed Prophet said "Hey uh you're gonna die so. Have fun with that". And then eventually he got murdered by Dreamer, but then he revived as a hologram with no soul. Perfect for a certain floating white guy.
To serve out retribution to those who deserve it.
Post soul regainEssentially morphed basically just goes around everywhere killing people who deserve it. Dreamer is one of his primary targets, but unfortunately, dreamer is a bit out of reach.
Stopwatch was born when time was. He was created to be the lord of time, and simply is times gaurdian. He was not affected by Dreamers whole thing he did. For Eternal, he was defeated, and then lost his soul, which Dreamer took advantage of to inhabit him.
literally just the god of time. When you battle him in Luminescent Lights, he is there to prevent you from gaining control over time.
Post soul regainStopwatch and Dreamer go head to head, as Stopwatch deems him a threat afer he is taken. Neither are particularly able to win over the other, so the battle is basically never ending.
Impetus was created by Stopwatch to drive fate forward. When someone needs to die, he is the one to cause it. Some would call him, death. Impetus never really had a soul, so when he came after Dreamer, Dreamer decided to take advantage of his rather lack of a soul.
To drive forward fate. When one needs to be killed, he does it. When something needs to be mitigated or stopped, he does it. When something needs to be accomplished or created, he does it.
Post soul regainWhen he regains his, well, not his soul, but his control of himself, he joins Stopwatch in his battle against Dreamer. Due to his severe power difference though, he doesn't help much.
Not to be confused with Light Beneath Closed Eyes. They are very diffferent places, just look similar.
Luminescent Lights is a large city, built by the first residents of the realm. They built a large clock tower, and Stopwatch decided to take residence there. The clock on the clock tower has time controling properties, and if utilized correctly, can bestow a person with control of time, as powerful as Stopwatch himself. If destroyed however, the power will be lost forever. Dreamer, when doing his thing, caused the city to be abandoned by all sane life. The only remaining residents were creatures that never had any soul, and Stopwatch.
