Mass is one of the 32 Tempos currently available in HOURS. It is available to the player after beating Light Beneath Closed Eyes with 
Artisan, and have obtained the Hands of Time gamepass.
Usage[]
When this ability is activated, any enemy, projectile or ally will gradually slow down to a point when approaching the player, lasting 10 seconds with a cooldown of 30 seconds.
When using Overclock, the effect is more potent and the slowing radius increased, with a decreased cooldown to 10 seconds.

Tips[]
- This tempo should mainly be used to dodge projectiles and take advantage of closer enemies. This is extremely good with Vestige as it allows you to deal major damage with projectile play and still avoid your enemies within the 10 seconds.
- This tempo can also work really well with melee hosts such as Prophet and Invader due to the fact that when you get up close, especially when overclocked, you can greatly slow down enemies to the point they can't react at all and dish out immense damage while having no threat of taking damage yourself.
- This tempo can be used to nullify potential damage, as every attack or projectile will slow down right before hitting you, allowing you to dodge.
- When overlocked, almost nothing can hit you due to the increased slow effect, making the normal weakness off some hosts irrelevant.

- Mass has the opposite ability of the tempo, Cell.
- This tempo may be a reference to Einstein's Theory of relativity.
- This tempo may also be a reference to Zeno's Dichotomy Paradox.
- This can be a unintended reference to Satoru Gojo's Neutral Limitless: Infinity.
