"Owning nothing, knowing nothing, wanting nothing. Yet, his existence more meaningful than any other."
Visitor is one of the fifteen Hosts featured in HOURS. It can be obtained by beating the stage Light Beneath Closed Eyes with the first 5 Hosts.
Description[]
Visitor is a very tanky host with a decent combination of melee and ranged capabilities. He is used to mainly destroy large chunks of health on enemies from time to time.
Upon reaching Phase 2 of Light Beneath Closed Eyes with Visitor, the game shows its true name, Zeronil.
Appearance[]
The Visitor appears as a navy blue humanoid with what appears to be a straw hat and an umbrella/drill. His body and clothes seem to be made of a crystal-like material, as shown by his luminance and the spikes coming out of his shoulders. He is the only host whose icon does not appear on their face; his icon represents his head and hat.
Playstyle[]
Visitor is incredibly slow, but boasts stronger defensive capabilities than any other host. Its passive ability, Skin, allows it to last longer in battle, while Visitor's abilities allow it to function well in short-range and long-range.
Statistics[]
Abilities[]
M1 - Drill | |
Thrust your drill forward into the nearest enemy, dealing 8 x 3 damage. Visitor's primary attack. It is quite slow and can cause endlag, but does decent damage. |
M2 - Beam | |
Channel a powerful laser beam for 2 seconds dealing 32 damage per second. Deals an additional 64 damage and heals for 8% health if fully channelled. Recharges after 8 seconds. Can be cancelled early. This is Visitor's only ranged move and deals high damage in a short amount of time. |
SHIFT - Burrow | |
Burrows into the ground and tunnel to a new nearby location, dealing 20 damage in the area where it appears. Recharges after 7 seconds. A method of mobility, although unreliable. Usually cast to deal extra damage while maintaining space. |
Q - Skewer | |
Creates a line of spikes which aim towards enemies, dealing 20 damage and rooting the enemy in that position for 2 seconds. Recharges after 9 seconds. A supportive move used mainly for its ability to freeze enemies, allowing you to use your other skills more easily. |
Passive - Skin | |
Start with 6 charges of Skin. Every charge of Skin grants 10 armor. Taking damage causes you to lose one charge of Skin. Recharges every 5 seconds. Skin allows Visitor to be bulky, nullifying damage taken. This further improves the tanky playstyle of Visitor |
Obtainable Abilities[]
Behind A Front | |
Regenerate a shield with 20 health when Skin is at full charge. Activate to restore all charges of Skin and recharge the shield. Can be activated while attacking or staggered. 20 second cooldown |

Tips and Tricks[]
- Using overclocked Rush with Beam allows for extremely high damage comparable to Prophets heavy strike with Star.
Trivia[]
- Visitor is the only host in the game whose icon does not appear on his face, or anywhere on his entire body. His icon represents his head and hat
- Originally, Visitor had no icon at all
- During development, Visitor was known as Amalgam. It was changed because the owner of the game felt the new name suited him more and also sounded better. In addition, his Beam could be endlessly channeled, gaining power as it hit enemies, and losing some of the gained power when Visitor is hit
- The Full of Holes upgrade (Skewer deals 10 damage when it ends, increased by 50% of damage taken while in effect.) will deal damage to Bloxxerman when he initiates his final phase, even if you cast Skewer on Bloxxerman before he flies up. This damage only applies to the shield, however
- Using Overclocked Dive and the Full of Holes upgrade, it is possible to deal thousands of damage
- Visitor's Beam is one of the only attacks in the game that Ronin Alpha cannot parry, and that Phase 3 Resident Mind will make no active effort to dodge
- Burrow cannot move Visitor outside of the main arena. Using it on the path towards the end after defeating the final boss will simply return you into the room where the boss fight took place
- There's a card version of this host from the game, Blox Cards.
- Because of skin, you can actually expect to not instantly die from 2 or 3 attacks while playing on seconds mode. It is still possible though due to the stagger as well.
