Dive is one of the 29 Tempos currently available in HOURS. It is available to the player after beating Mirai Mirror using the Invader, but only if you have the Hands of Time gamepass.

When activated, there is about a 2 second wind-up before the effect actually takes place, where everything rapidly goes to a stop. After this, only the player regains movement and can attack other enemies while they cannot move. Projectiles fired by the player are affected by the Tempo but is only affected after 2 seconds, and can still hit enemies during the time stop. Finally, when the Tempo's duration is over, there is a brief moment where everything is slowed down before transitioning back to the normal flow of time.

Dive lasts for 10 seconds, and has a 40 second cooldown. When Overclocked, the duration is increased to 30 seconds.

Tips and Trivia

  • Since Dive has a 2 second windup, it is not possible to efficiently dodge with it unlike you could with Halt and Star, unless you have good timing.
  • The tempo's ability to be stopped early reduces cooldown depending on how much time you use it. This way, it's good to have a sense of your damage and target enemy's health, to not over-use the tempo to make the cooldown shorter and have to wait less before using it again.
  • The tempo is regarded to be essentially a free win for prophet, as you can get enough damage to one shot RM even without upgrades, due to heavy attack spam.

  • This power's visual and audio effects reference to the stand The World in Jojo's Bizarre adventures.
  • That being said, the name references to DIO's stand's, The World's, Diver Oxygen Canister; hence the name Dive.
    • It may also be a reference to DIO inspiration, Holy Diver.
