Dirt is one of the 32 Tempos currently available in HOURS. It is available to the player after beating Downcast Days using Vestige

Usage

When activated, it spawns a clone from another timeline, which mirrors whatever you do; running, attacking etc. You are able to swap controls with the clone, meaning you can teleport when your health gets dangerously low. Once finished the clone will disappear. Any items created by the clone, however, stays.

Dirt lasts for 10 seconds and the cooldown is 30 seconds. When Overclocked it spawns an extra clone and lasts for 15 seconds.

Tips and Trivia

Tips

• This is a decent tempo, as it allows you to switch to your clone like Swap, but only when this tempo is active. Its use is supposed to be to 'double the damage' or to trap your enemy in stun moves, but it isn't very good at that. However, it's good for the Witness as Smite's long stun does double damage and leaves a single enemy open to attacks. Overclocked is even better and works MUCH BETTER with the Subject. Three lightning potions do about 90 damage and leave the enemy open to stun. The reason why this is better than the Witness is because it leaves the enemy open to other potion's increased effects like poison.
• Due to the 4/1/2022 update, Drifter’s sword spin will spawn four noobs to assist you. With this tempo active, activating this can spawn up to 8 (12 if overclocked) extra helpers to assist you, effectively making your own mob. The other Drifter(s) can also sync together, which can effectively multiply damage. Pretty powerful, but especially when overclocked.

Trivia

• Swap, Dirt, and Disc are all inspired by the ability of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (D4C); that is, the ability to move between timelines or dimensions. Dirt's name also directly references the name of D4C.
