Captain Ivory is one of the ten enemies that can be encountered in Downcast Days.
Appearance[]
Captain Ivory appears as a white humanoid with a blue pirate outfit. They have two eyepatches, a cannon and a pirate's hat. All three having skulls on them. They use both the cannon and a hook as their weapons. They also have a cutlass on their waist, however they don't use it.
Moves[]
Porcelain Cannon[]
When far away from their opponent, Captain Ivory will always use their cannon. This cannon deals 16 damage if directly hit by the projectile itself, or the explosion created by it; and deal moderate knockback.
Hook Slash[]
When at close range, slashes for 8 damage.
AI[]
Once spawned, Captain Ivory will instantly use Porcelain Cannon as long as the player isn't too close. They will always stay a distance away from you to shoot you with their cannon. They will never approach you unless you're out of their cannon range, or if you're too close, in which they'll attempt to slash you.
Tips[]
- Their cannon will knock them back after they use it. Go behind them when they use this ability to take advantage of the end lag.
- When using
Prophet, don't attack after their hook. It has barely any end lag and you will be hit. - When using
Artisan, try not to place units when Captain Ivory is charging up their cannon. They will probably fire before your unit can do some good damage.
- Alternatively, you can parry the projectile.
Trivia[]
- All enemies encountered on Downcast Days are references to the different Clans of Robloxia. Captain Ivory represents the LightAge Pirates.
- By logic, because Captain Ivory wears 2 eyepatches, it would technically make them completely blind.
